結論：
由於諸多社會的、教育的、科學的及資源的壓力的結果，醫學教育學科之教師成員己逐漸被要求必需具有醫學教育專業訓練及背景。醫學教育之專業素養將要求至少要有碩士學位，最好是有博士學位。而這些學位的擁有者應具備上述之六種核心能力，才能勝任醫學教育學科之任務。
本校的姊妹校美國阿肯色州立大學醫學中心 (UAMS) 的醫學教育發展處
(OED) 主任 Dr. Diane Heestand 最近正在徵求教師，其徵文內容之要求正好與 Dr. Violato之文章相對應，筆者經過 Dr. Heestand的同意附上其徵文以供參考。

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks a dynamic and experienced education researcher/evaluator to work collaboratively with faculty across the health professions and in the Office of Educational Development. Experience in medical and health sciences education is required; the candidate must be able to meet the requirements of an Associate Professor through a demonstrated commitment to excellence in education, scholarship, and service. The individual selected will have administrative experience and demonstrated excellent oral/written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Specific responsibilities will include: 1) consultation and collaboration on research design and methods with an emphasis on quantitative research, 2) consultation and review of student assessment methods, 3) supervision of data management and analysis, 4) some teaching, 5) development of grant proposals, and 6) conducting and publishing health professions education research.
