*Clinical features
**Young (<20 y/o), palpable purpura, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, arthropathy, fever, fatigue, ~IgA ↑ (50% p’ts), hematuria, proteinuria, macroscopic hematuria immediately after URI in children, NS (uncommon)
**GN is very similar to ~IgA nephropathy
**Skin: ''Leukocytoclastic vasculitis'', dermal ~IgA deposits
*Kidney biopsy is indicated only for p’ts with marked proteinuria or renal failure
*Treatment
**Similar to ~IgAN
**Corticosteroids or cytotoxics for RPGN
*Prognosis
**Good (esp. in children), chronic renal failure & hypertension (rare)
